Organizing Your Schoology Course

Many teachers have asked how to ensure students are seeing the daily directions, learning targets, and agenda for the class.  Using only the class materials can get a bit messy and leave students (and soon parents) confused when it comes to finding what they need.  Below are quick directions to set you up using the "Updates" page as a solution.

The update page is a better place for posting agendas, learning targets, etc.  You will find it under the course materials:

Then you can set the update page as the default page your students are forced to see when they go into your course.  

1.  Click on course options under your course picture

2.  Click on "edit privacy / course settings"

3. At the bottom set the default landing page to "updates"

4. Click "Save Changes"
